having been in Education for many years, I know it's more difficult to teach adults, especially with language and reading. This has been tailored to the adult learner with both aural-lingual and written language instruction. It incorporates very specific lessons that include not only speaking but reading and writing, all important if you are traveling to a Spanish speaking country. I bought it after reading reviews from actual Spanish speakers. They liked this program much more than Rosetta Stone. I have heard others say that Rosetta Stone is confusing and they didn't feel they completely learned what they needed to. After the first five lessons, I feel like I have a basic understanding of the language's structure. I decided to learn Spanish because of a charitable organization with which I'm involved. They do work with schools in rural Honduras and make annual trips. I want to go this coming year, so I thought it would be great to know the language in order to work with the kids and the communities. I already speak French and understand Italian, so this Fluenz is a big help. I'll probably also get the Italian program to relearn the Italian I lost from my early childhood. I really recommend Fluenz.

Fluenz Spanish 1+2 Mac is an excellent tool to learn Spanish at your own pace. Perfect for busy people, as the software allows considerable flexibility-you could spend 20 minutes as easily as an hour. Its dynamic user interface and interactive learning approach makes it especially user friendly for those who prefer a "hands on" approach to learning.
